The ADAM A7V biamplified 2-way audio studio monitor with 7 x woofer is a modern 2-way monitor that represents the evolution of ADAM Audio’s award-winning A7X. It features a 7-inch multilayer mineral woofer and a swivelling X-ART tweeter, handcrafted in Berlin. DSP-based voicing, equalisation and room correction options can be controlled remotely and in real time via the free downloadable A Control software, and upgradable firmware allows new filters and optimisations to be implemented throughout the life of the monitor. The DSP-based functionality of all A Series monitors can be controlled remotely and in real time via Ethernet using A Control. Made from a new glass fibre polymer compound, the HPS waveguide allows the X-ART tweeter to disperse sound in controlled space with consistency. The new A-Series cabinets are based on the legacy of ADAM Audio and in particular the AX Series. ADAM Audio is proud to collaborate with Sonarworks on an automated room correction solution that runs directly on the DSP of the A-Series monitors.
