This lens is designed to meet film industry standards. Thanks to the 95mm front accessory ring, the supplied lens hood can be replaced with a matte box at any time. In addition, the lens was equipped with a front thread for 86mm filters. Instead, for greater lens stability when using follow focus, this lens has been equipped with a removable foot with ¼-inch threads that can be attached to either the bottom or top of the lens. All lenses in the Irix Cine family are designed so that the rings are positioned at the same height and the weight is similar.
