The Allen & Heath IP6 six rotary remote controller for live sound applications is a next-generation remote controller with 6 rotary controls designed for installation and live sound applications. It interfaces with the AHM, dLive or Avantis mixing system via standard TCP/IP network connections and can then be networked with other controllers, computers and third-party devices using a standard Ethernet infrastructure. It can be powered by an external 12V power supply or via Ethernet (PoE). The IP6’s controls and functions are programmed via AHM System Manager software, dLive Surface / Director software, or Avantis mixer / Director software, and can adapt to a variety of applications, including: Personal monitoring – The IP6 can be configured to control send levels, pans, and the assignment of multiple channels to a specific mix on dLive/Avantis, such as for use with wireless IEMs, giving musicians the freedom to control their own monitor sound. Installation – The installer or system integrator can configure the IP6 to provide the degree of control needed by the day-to-day operator, such as levels of microphones and music sources in a room.
