The Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 channel Dante digital receiver (Q1-9) simplifies the professional workflow by using refined technologies and decades of research to deliver a digital UHF system that can be scaled with ease. The system quickly assesses the environment and uses equidistant channel spacing to distribute frequencies, while tools such as Sennheiser’s Control Cockpit, Wireless Systems Manager and Smart Assist App enable remote system monitoring. In-device charging, 12-hour battery operation and a switching bandwidth of up to 88 MHz are just some of the many features that make the EW-DX the right tool for the job.

In addition, the receiver has half a two-channel digital rack (9.5″) with Dante in a robust metal housing and a switching bandwidth of up to 88 MHz. Flexible network modes: single cable (Control, Dante, PoE), split mode (Control + PoE and Dante daisy chain), redundancy mode (Control + PoE, Dante Prim, Dante Sec), the receiver also has 134 dB of dynamic input range: no need to set gain on wireless transmitters, thanks to the Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec (SePAC). It has equidistant channel spacing to easily assign intermodulation-free channels: Standard mode with 600 kHz spacing for up to 146 channels; Link Density (LD) mode with 300 kHz spacing for up to 293 channels. Network-enabled for extended remote control with Sennheiser Control Cockpit, Wireless System Manager and third-party multimedia control systems via plug-in. The Sennheiser EW-DX EM digital receiver has Ethernet connectivity and secure transmission of confidential content thanks to AES 256 encryption. In addition, the AutoScan function quickly scans the environment and distributes frequencies with equidistant channel spacing, even without RF knowledge, and the Link Quality Indicator (LQI) shows link quality based on RF levels. Remote control is possible via Smart Assist App via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) at distances of up to 25 metres and can be used worldwide.
