This level of control is critical for creating special atmospheres and better managing shadows and highlights in a scene. While the grid (included), is another valuable tool. This is mounted directly on the barndoor and is used to further narrow the light beam, reducing lateral diffusion. In practice, the grid allows for even more focused and precise lighting, which is essential for situations where it is necessary to illuminate a subject without affecting the surroundings.
