Immortalising the fastest movements
The Canon EOS R3 offers impressive shooting speed, capturing images at up to 195 fps to reveal details invisible to the naked eye. Thanks to the stacked backlit sensor, you can use the electronic shutter without worrying about ‘rolling shutter’ distortion. It supports a maximum shutter speed of 1/64,000th of a second and shoots up to 30 fps with AF/AE tracking for up to 420 frames in RAW format. The camera also allows flash synchronisation with the electronic shutter, ideal for balancing light in high light conditions or capturing fast-moving subjects.
Perfectly focused in any direction
The Canon EOS R3 introduces innovative autofocus with Eye Control technology, allowing moving subjects to be tracked with extreme precision. It uses artificial intelligence and deep learning to recognise people, animals and vehicles. The camera offers video shooting in 4K and 6K RAW, with Canon Log 3 for superior dynamic range and greater flexibility in colour grading. Object recognition is also useful for videographers, keeping subjects in focus at all times. In addition, the EOS R3 includes LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity for quick sharing and remote control of the camera.
Robust and safe body
The Canon EOS R3 has a robust magnesium alloy body, sealed to resist dust and water, similar to the EOS-1D series, making it ideal for shooting in any conditions. It is powered by a high-capacity LP-E19 battery, ensuring a long battery life. Thanks to a range of adapters, EF lenses are fully compatible, with additional options such as bezels and drop-in filters. The camera’s controls are versatile, with a multi-control and thumb-operated smart controllers, while three customisable dials allow you to adjust key settings without taking your eye off the frame.
