The Sony E 16-55 mm F2,8 G Sony E-mount – Photographic Lens is the first APS-C constant-aperture zoom lens offers G-series performance in a compact body. Circular 9-blade aperture and precise spherical aberration contribute to a soft bokeh effect. The same advanced XD (eXtreme Dynamic) linear motor that maximizes focus performance as the G Master series is used for the APS-C lens. It harnesses the dynamic potential of the camera body, focusing and tracking even fast-moving subjects with speed and precision. Being silent, videographers can take advantage of the constant F2.8 aperture. The versatility provided by the customizable focus lock button, selector switch for AF/MF and linear response MF allows shooting even in difficult conditions.
