All Profoto deep umbrellas have a deeper, more parabolic shape than an average umbrella. The deeper the shape, the better the control of light diffusion. It also allows the light to be concentrated or shaped by simply sliding the umbrella shaft back or forth on its stand. Translucent umbrellas are used to illuminate through their surface, they diffuse and soften light by reducing contrast. Translucent umbrellas are perfect for creating soft light when you are very close to your subject.
Profoto Umbrella Deep Translucent consists of 16 fibreglass rods for a parabolic shape and even light diffusion.
It is made of high-quality, heat-resistant materials, plus the surface of the metal elements is treated to prevent rust and colour deterioration. An optional backpanel can be used to turn your umbrella into a softbox.
Equipped with a labeled bag that protects the umbrella during storage and transport.
