Fujinon UA14 2/3″ 4K 4.5-63mm 14x lens with B4 mount is a lightweight and compact 4K UHD wide-angle lens for broadcast television such as live sports. It offers 4K image quality in many situations, even in tiny places with a minimum object distance of 30 cm. The UA14 features a digital servo for zoom control, and focus can be either manual or servo-controlled. The maximum aperture is a fast f/1.8 from 4.5 to 41mm and ramps to f/2.8 at 63mm. Fujinon UA14x4.5BERD-S10B features a digital Servo for zoom control, and focus can be either manual- or servo-controlled. Fujinon UA14 4.5-63mm 14x has an innerfocus that minimizes the effects of lens breathing, ensuring a more consistent angle of view when making focus adjustments. QuickZoom improves zoom speed to 0.7 seconds end to end. With the push of a button, QuickZoom facilitates a rapid shift to the telephoto end to check focus. Releasing the button automatically returns the lens to the previously selected focal length.
High resolution and high contrast
Fujinon portable 4K’s optical technology sets a new standard of performance, offering high resolution, high contrast and reduced chromatic aberration. Using fluorite ED elements, it produces sharp and clear images, improving MTF. It also optimises the dynamic range for faithful rendering of video images, without glare.
Reduction of aberrations
The Fujinon portable 4K’s multi-group zoom structure reduces aberrations throughout the entire range, ensuring high image quality. Aspherical elements and new polishing techniques improve surface accuracy. HT-EBC technology minimises reflections, improving ‘blacks’. Internal lens optimisation reduces ghosting and flare, facilitating camera adjustment.
Natural bokeh achieved with nine-blade iris
Through the use of the iris, Fujinon 4K lenses achieve an almost circular aperture. This makes it possible to render images while taking full advantage of a softer, more natural bokeh effect. These hand-held lenses allow for soft and pleasing blurring of the background while enhancing foreground subjects.
