The UltraStudio Express Monitor 3G is a compact video playback interface designed for users who work with laptops or workstations equipped with a 40 Gbps USB-C port (USB4 or Thunderbolt 4) and need reliable Broadcast-quality outputs. The device offers a switchable SD\/HD 3G-SDI output and an HDMI 2.0 Type A output, both capable of handling 10-bit video up to 1080p60, with support for the Rec 601, Rec 709, and Rec 2020, as well as HDR compatibility via static metadata and HLG\/PQ transfer.<\/p>\n

It is powered directly from the USB-C cable, without the need for external power adapters, and is designed for Broadcast professionals, editors, and graphic designers who need to monitor the image on a high-quality external Display during editing, color grading, or live graphics production. It is compatible with leading professional software applications, including DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Avid Media Composer, and Pro Tools, as well as various third-party Broadcast applications for graphics and streaming.<\/p>\n

The product works on Mac, Windows, and Linux and is the natural “output-only” counterpart to the UltraStudio Express line, ideal when you need only signal monitoring and not capture.<\/p><\/div>\n
