Specifications

The new Tamron 25-200mm F2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 redefines the concept of a Sony mirrorless lens. With a versatile focal range from a wide-angle 25mm to a telephoto 200mm, this second-generation lens (G2) is the ideal companion for every photographic situation, from breathtaking landscapes to intense portraits.

The strength lies in the F2.8 maximum aperture at the minimum focal length, ensuring excellent performance even in low light and a soft and natural blur (bokeh). The focusing system of the Tamron 25-200mm F2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 relies on the VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor, which ensures pinpoint accuracy and quiet speed of execution, ideal for both action photography and professional video shooting.

Advanced optical construction minimizes aberrations, delivering sharp images across the entire frame. With an ergonomic, lightweight design, this Tamron lens for Sony E-mount is designed to withstand everyday use, thanks to its moisture-resistant construction and fluorine coating on the front lens. Optimize your workflow with the Focus Set button that can be customized using the Tamron Lens Utility software.
