The Sennheiser EW-DX SKM-S (R1-9) is a professional digital handheld transmitter from the Evolution Wireless Digital series, designed for live, corporate, and broadcast applications. It operates in the R1-9 frequency band (520–608 MHz) and stands out for its sound quality, reliability, and ease of use, offering professionals a versatile and robust tool.

Thanks to 24-bit/48 kHz digital transmission, the Sennheiser EW-DX SKM-S (R1-9) delivers crystal-clear audio and a dynamic range exceeding 134 dB, with minimal latency. It is compatible with interchangeable Sennheiser and Neumann capsules (MMD and MMK standards), allowing the microphone to be adapted to different vocal needs and styles of use. The transmitter also features a mute switch that provides instant control during performances.

The handheld device is powered by the BA 70 rechargeable battery pack (up to 12 hours of battery life) or two AA batteries (up to 8 hours). The high-resolution OLED display shows all essential information, while compatibility with Sennheiser Control Cockpit and Wireless Systems Manager (WSM) enables centralized monitoring and configuration.
