The Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM BW X Portable receiver for cameras is a rugged and compact portable receiver (approx. 82 \u00d7 64 \u00d7 24 mm; weight approx. 140\u2013200 g with batteries) designed to be worn on a belt, ideal for broadcast applications on cameras or personal monitoring on stage. The device operates on the BW band (626\u2013698 MHz), with coverage of up to 3000 selectable frequencies in 25 kHz steps and a switching range of up to 75 MHz.
\nEquipped with Adaptive Diversity technology, it also uses the earphone cable as a second antenna to minimize dropouts.
\nOn the audio front, it features the HDX compander system for transparent sound quality, with a high signal-to-noise ratio, audio response between 25\u201315,000 Hz, and stereo headphone outputs with power up to 2 \u00d7 100 mW (at 32 \u03a9).
\nInterference management is advanced: pilot-tone squelch adjustable in 2 dB steps, automatic scan function to identify free frequencies, radio synchronization with the transmitter, adjustable limiter (-18 dB,-6 dB), stereo\/focus mode, selectable balance, and Hi-Boost. The user interface is intuitive thanks to the backlit graphic display, user-friendly menu, 4-level battery display, and auto-lock function to prevent accidental adjustments.
\nPower is supplied by two 1.5 V AA batteries (or BA 2015 rechargeable battery pack), with a battery life of between 4 and 6 hours depending on the volume and operating modes.
