The versatile Sennheiser MD 441 U supercardioid dynamic microphone is a high-precision dynamic supercardioid microphone, often recognised for offering sound quality similar to that of a condenser microphone. Its frequency response ranges from 30 Hz to 20 kHz, with a sensitivity of 1.8 mV\/Pa \u00b12 dB and a nominal impedance of 200 \u03a9. The capsule is mounted on a spring system to significantly reduce handling noise, while an anti-hum coil attenuates electrical interference or humming.
\nIt also incorporates an internal pop filter to dampen explosive consonants such as \u2018P\u2019 and \u2018B\u2019.
\nThe tonal control uses a five-position roll-off switch for low frequencies, with \u2018M\u2019 (Music) and \u201cS\u201d (Voice) positions that are extremely useful in different situations, and a \u2018brilliance\u2019 switch to emphasise high frequencies.
\nThe sturdy body is made of metal with a black synthetic leather finish and nickel-plated grille, combining protection and retro aesthetics. Its compact dimensions of 270 \u00d7 33 \u00d7 36 mm and weight of approximately 450 g make it practical to mount and hold.<\/p>\n
