With a focal length equivalent to 40mm on full-frame, it offers a natural perspective, making it ideal for portrait, street, and documentary photography. The optical construction includes 15 elements in 11 groups, featuring ED (Extra-low Dispersion) and HR (High Refractive) glass, which effectively reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions while enhancing contrast and sharpness across the entire frame. The wide f/1.2 maximum aperture ensures excellent depth of field control and strong low-light performance, producing smooth, creamy bokeh thanks to its 11-blade diaphragm.

Autofocus is driven by an advanced STM+ stepping motor that delivers fast, accurate, and quiet focusing, fully compatible with Fujifilm’s face and eye detection AF systems. The lens body is entirely built from metal, offering a professional-grade finish and weather sealing to protect against dust and moisture. A USB-C port is also included for firmware updates. Despite its substantial size and weight of around 560 grams, the Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 PRO remains well-balanced, representing a high-end solution for photographers seeking optical excellence and wide aperture performance in a standard prime for the APS-C system.

Weight

560 g

Dimensions

8,2 x 9,2 cm

Mount

Fujifilm X

Focal length

27mm

Filter size

67 mm (anterior)

Angle of view

55,3°

Aperture

F1.2

Focus type

Autofocus

Minimum focus distance

27,9 cm

Optic design

10 elements in 8 groups

The Viltrox Air AF 27mm F1.2 APS-C with Fujifilm X-mount – photographic lens is a prime lens designed for Fujifilm cameras featuring the X mount and APS-C sensor.

Viltrox Lenses and Accessories

Discover Viltrox's range of lenses and accessories, designed to deliver high performance at a competitive price.
