Weighing only 170 g and measuring 64 \u00d7 54.7 mm, it offers excellent portability, ideal for street, portrait and travel photography.<br \/>\nThe optics consists of 11 elements in 9 groups, including aspherical and extra-low dispersion (ED) glass lenses, which reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions. Multi-layer HD nano coating improves contrast and minimizes flare and ghosting, ensuring vivid colors and sharp images even in difficult lighting conditions.<\/p>\n<p>A maximum aperture of f\/1.7 provides excellent depth-of-field control and smooth bokeh rendition thanks to the 9-blade diaphragm. Autofocus is handled by a silent and precise stepping motor (STM), which is compatible with the face and eye detection systems of Sony cameras.<br \/>\nThe front filter has a diameter of 52 mm, facilitating the use of standard filters.
