Dual 7-inch bass drivers, each powered by independent 500W Class D amplifiers, offer perfect frequency reproduction down to 32Hz. ADAM Audio&#8217;s newly developed DCH, a 4&#8243; dome\/cone hybrid mid-range driver, is powered by a 300W Class D amplifier and handles audio above 250Hz and below 3kHz, its flagship hybrid design offering the benefits of both soft-dome and cone drivers in a single unit. Frequencies above 3kHz are addressed by the innovative combination of the S-ART treble driver (hand-built in the ADAM Audio factory in Berlin), the new HPS precision waveguide, and a 50W Class A\/B amplifier. The result of all this innovation is a beautifully transparent three-dimensional soundscape with a wide sweet spot. The S Series&#8217; custom-designed DSP optimises the loudspeaker crossovers to create linear responses across the entire range, as well as providing user equalisation and room tuning\/voicing functions. A unique feature of the S3H&#8217;s DSP is a built-in factory EQ preset that emulates the response of the legendary ADAM Audio S3A monitor. The DSP also handles limiter-based high-frequency driver protection, processes signals from the AES3&#8217;s digital inputs, and facilitates various expansion possibilities over time.
