Low frequencies from 32Hz to 250Hz are handled by ADAM Audio&#8217;s completely new 9&#8243; Extended Linear Excursion (ELE) LF driver, which incorporates the company&#8217;s equally innovative Symmetrical Magnet Assembly (SMA) and offers a powerful, extremely accurate low end that extends into the sub-bass region. Mid-range and HF information is reproduced with equal analytical precision thanks to the combination of a newly developed 4&#8243; DCH mid-range driver and an extremely refined S-ART folded-ribbon HF driver. Together with the new HPS waveguide, it offers high-frequency reproduction with an extremely wide sweet spot, highly detailed imaging, and a sound with a natural sense of depth. The S Series&#8217; custom-designed DSP optimises the loudspeaker crossovers to create linear responses across the entire range, as well as providing user equalisation and room tuning\/voicing functions. A unique feature of the S3V&#8217;s DSP is a built-in EQ preset that emulates the response of ADAM Audio&#8217;s legendary S3A monitor. The DSP also handles limiter-based high-frequency driver protection, processes signals from the AES3&#8217;s digital inputs, and facilitates various expansion possibilities over time.
