The ADAM S6X 5 amplifiers 4-way audio studio main monitor with 7″ and 12″ woofers is an excellent choice for large control rooms and film or sound studios. It uses a symmetrical concept to enhance the realistic reproduction of ADAM Audio monitors at higher sound pressure levels. ADAM Audio has avoided the typical low-end overload often found in main monitors. A wide horizontal radiation characteristic and moderate vertical radiation are crucial factors in minimizing the impact of ceiling and floor reflections and achieving neutral sound reproduction at high volume levels. Integrated amplifiers are coupled to their respective loudspeakers as directly as possible so that remote amplifier units do not compromise the advantages of active technology. A 500-watt amplifier is assigned to each of the 12\u2033 woofers, while 250-W units are used for the other frequency bands.<\/p>\n

The ADAM S6X has a total of seven individual speakers, so gradual transitions are possible given the size of the cabinet. ADAM S6X also features horizontal symmetry that can be described as an extended D’Appolito configuration. This design is conscious of harmonic proportions and generous diaphragm area to achieve not only a flat frequency response, but also consistent dynamic behavior across the entire frequency range. Complex orchestral structures can be easily analyzed and spatially arranged. This type of design, combined with appropriate transition frequencies and filter slopes, results in radiation patterns that lead to very consistent reproduction characteristics at the horizontal center position. At the same time, vertical dispersion is reduced so that reflections from the ceiling, floor, or mixing console are greatly reduced. In this way, so-called “first reflections” have less chance to interfere, which leads to significantly better stereo imaging and more three-dimensional sound.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
