The mixer weighs 5.2 kg (11.5 lbs). It is also equipped with a 20-channel, USB 2, 24bit\/96kHz sound card that is Mac class compliant. The soundcard offers 10 inputs and 10 outputs. Each of the 4 main input channels has 4 RCA line inputs, 4 RCA phono inputs, 4 USB sound card inputs, and the auxiliary channel has a \u00bc= TRS jack input, an XLR microphone input, and a USB sound card input. All input channels have a 3-band equaliser and the 4 main input channels have their own dedicated channel fader with adjustable curve settings and 12 LED metering segments. Each of the 5 input channels has a cue button that assigns the input of the selected channel to the headphone monitoring section, allowing pre-listening to the selected source. The headphone monitoring section is equipped with a headphone volume control and 3.5 mm and \u00bc= headphone connections. The Allen &amp; Heath XONE-PX5 mixer features a replaceable cross fader and is assignable to the 5 input channels via a 3-position switch per channel. The cross fader has 3 curve settings and is compatible with Innofader.  In addition, the Allen &amp; Heath XONE-PX5 mixer features a VCF filter system with HPF, BPF and LPF options with adjustable frequency and resonance. Each of the 5 input channels has its own dedicated send knob, and when in send mode, the FX engine is selectable in pre or post fade mode. It is also possible to assign the send effect to the cross fader. The mixer is then equipped with an external send and return with \u00bc= TRS connectivity, as well as an LN\/Hi-Z input switch for legacy hardware integration. integrate legacy hardware. The external send and return will be assignable to the VCF filter with a dedicated volume knob. Each of the 5 input channels will be able to be sent to the send and return using a dedicated send knob for each channel. The mixer has a balanced XLR master output, a secondary master output on RCA, and a booth output on \u00bc=. The Allen &amp; Heath XONE-PX5 mixer is MIDI assignable and it is possible to change the MIDI channel number on which it transmits, it then has an X-Link connection for connecting Xone K-Series to expand MIDI functionality. It has a 5-pin MIDI DIN connection for sending an external MIDI clock and synchronizing external MIDI instruments such as drum machines and synthesizers, with adjustable DIN, play, pause, stop and tempo bend. It has a dedicated master level control with a 12-segment LED meter.
