It has a 24.2-megapixel full frame CMOS sensor, and is perfect for low-light portraits and landscape photography. Its larger full frame sensor offers a beautiful bokeh effect and sensational quality. The EOS R8 is great for hybrid content, thanks to high-quality 4K 60p video, oversampling from 6K, and its intuitive functions for professional use. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II identifies, recognizes and tracks subjects throughout the frame for maximum sharpness in photos and video. It also follows moving subjects, thanks to the 40 fps electronic shutter.Up to 4K/60p resolution, focus breathing compensation and Canon Log 3 color profile for professional color grading. Full HD footage can be shot at up to 180 fps for fantastic slow-motion effects. The EOS R8 with RF 24-50mm lens can shoot up to ISO 102,400 extendable to ISO 204,800. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II is sensitive down to -6.5 EV⁵, or about as much light as a half moon. The RF 24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens is an extremely portable and pleasant-to-use standard lens, offering 4.5-stop image stabilization and fast, nearly silent AF thanks to the STM focusing motor. It covers a wide 2x zoom range from wide-angle to standard, making the EOS R8 an excellent camera for landscape, travel and reportage photography. This ergonomic lens is compact when stored away, but is designed to be natural and intuitive while working.

The macro photographic lens Canon RF 35mm F1.8 IS STM with RF mount, compact, lightweight, and close-focusing, is a unique wide-angle prime mixing the versatility of a general wide lens with the specialty of a 1:2 macro optic. An advanced optical design is benefitted by a Super Spectra coating, which helps to control flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color accuracy when working in bright or backlit conditions. Capable of focusing down to 17 cm at half life-size, this Canon RF 35mm F1.8 macro lens is ideal for photographing everything from close-ups of plants to street scenes and landscapes. The bright f/1.8 maximum aperture offers increased control over depth of field and also suits working in a variety of lighting conditions. Complementing this is a five stop-effective image stabilization, which minimizes the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. Also, an STM motor affords impressively quiet and smooth autofocus performance and full-time manual focus override. Additionally, a configurable Control Ring included in the Canon RF 35mm F1.8 lets you adjust exposure settings, including ISO, aperture, and exposure compensation, from the lens itself.

Canon EOS R8

<td
