The newly developed 20.4 MP Live Micro Four Thirds MOS sensor improves noise performance by two stops and dynamic range by one stop for better image quality, especially at higher ISOs; it uses a Cross Quad Pixel system that effectively divides each pixel into four sub-pixels for more deft cross-sensor performance when focusing in challenging lighting conditions. The focus system has 1053 individual points, which completely cover the sensor and operate at up to 120 fps to accommodate virtually all recording methods.
In addition, the Mirrorless camera Olympus OM-1 compared to previous generation processors, TruePic X offers 3x faster processing speeds along with a sensor readout rate of 120 fps for faster, more responsive shots.
