The Profoto B10 Flash is a 250W light with a variable power range of 10 stops and fast recycling times from 0,05 to 2,2 seconds.
The flash duration is 1/7,000 seconds, but there is a Freeze mode that prioritizes the duration of the flash resulting in a very short 1/50,000 seconds at minimum power.
The B10 is powered by a lithium-ion battery that delivers a whopping 400 full-power flashes with a 90-minute charge, while 60 minutes charges up to 80% if you’re short on time.
Of course, one of the most interesting features of the B10 is the TTL technology which takes advantage of your DSLR’s automatic flash exposure system and significantly reduces the time between inspiration and execution and capture.
The Profoto B10 Flash has an LED modeling light with the equivalent power of a 150 W incandescent lamp which is not only dimmable, but has a variable color temperature of 3000 to 6500 K. Its high CRI of 90-96 makes it usable for video. The battery will give you 75 minutes of runtime at full power.
A small form factor, battery power, remote control, photo and video compatibility, and smartphone connectivity make the B10 another highlight on the OCF roster.
